Artist Notes | #002: Graphic Tablet Worries & Woes

Artist Notes | #002: Funny Illustration of Tara Fisher Jones dealing with malfunctioning graphics tablet.

I made up my mind years ago that my medium would be digital art. I went a little overboard with supplies—new, secondhand, you name it—and ended up drowning in clutter. I had to give away so many things that could’ve been used, and honestly, I’m convinced my brain is on a slight tilt when it comes to technology. For the life of me, I could never figure out how to get my carefully hand-drawn illustrations scanned and ready for software.

FACE ART DAILY - ARTIST NOTES: 001 - Illustration of Tee Fisher Jones in five funny face poses.

Hello! My name is Tara, and welcome to my very first blog entry! When I created Face Art Daily, I imagined I would simply showcase my art, sell a few items here and there, post, and repeat. Working like a hamster on a wheel has been my structure ever since I started working independently in 2005. I have been on this artist's quest — starting and stopping, picking up and putting down potential projects that are still tucked away on external hard drives. My yearning to create art goes back as far as I can remember.
